Techqueria is a nonprofit that serves and connects the largest community of Latinx people in tech in the US. They empower Latinx professionals with the resources and support that they need to thrive and become leaders in the tech industry. The community connects on Slack and through various events.

David Silva: Co-Founder of Techqueria and a web development consultant for small startups. David is originally from Colombia.
Kristal Garcia: Community Lead at Techqueria and a software engineer on the core infrastructure team at BuzzFeed. Kristal was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.
David and Kristal chat with Marsha about the origin story of Techqueria and the nitty-gritty of growing it.
